Living a life of serving the gospel is not easy. Everyone has a heart that wants things to get better, both in spirit and in flesh. These days the gospel of the water and the Spirit is being preached widely abroad, for which I am thankful, but when I look at this country, my heart aches a great deal. What I hope and desire is that people would all believe the gospel of the water and the Spirit, receive the remission of sins, and live with the Holy Spirit dwelling in their hearts, so that whenever the Lord comes, they can greet Him. Therefore, when we listen to the word, we should listen with the alertness of asking, what would become of me if I went before the Lord tomorrow? Only then can we go before the Lord at any time when He comes.
